Treatments Herbal Hypertension

Treatments Herbal Hypertension. Herbal treatments as an alternative to treatment with synthetic drugs for hypertension were examined more closely today than ever. High blood pressure is a permanent problem, which requires a life-time treatment. High blood pressure is not likely to just "go away." It is not "recover" from it as you do from a bad cold or the flu. People do not like to take synthetic drugs for a lifetime, and it is for this reason that herbal treatments are becoming more popular every day.

The medical response for the treatment of high blood pressure is to take a pill (or two or three) every day. The herbal treatment for high blood pressure is to eat certain foods and herbs and spices and use some of that food. There are no pills. Herbal treatments are all natural so there are no side effects associated with them as there are with synthetic drugs.

Garlic is the herb most commonly used for the treatment of this disease. The people knew that the garlic to reduce this for many, many years ... and lowers blood pressure. Onions will also serve the same purpose, such as tomatoes will.

Most of the herbs used for the treatment of this disease have a diuretic effect. Hawthorn, nutmeg, kelp, and cardamom are all herbs that are used to treat hypertension. There are also Indian herbs which are used to treat hypertension, as Arjuna, jalamamsi, shankhapushpi and manjishta.

A diet that focuses on fresh fruits and vegetables, and is loaded with whole grains is also considered part of the herbal treatments. High blood pressure that is treated with herbal medicine will also require a low-salt diet.
