With the official announcement of Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Korean home market will enter a direct competitor to the iPhone 5, at least as regards the size of the display. Obviously this comparison we just looking at the cold numbers since the Galaxy S3 Mini is not available yet. You notice immediately that performance level iPhone 5 is on another planet. Starting from the processor, passing by the camera to get to the connectivity and the resolution of the display, the device of Cupertino has an edge. Those who saw in the S3 Mini a direct competitor to iPhone 5 wrong in part: it is only for the screen size and weight of the devices, which are very similar to these characteristics.

For the rest it seems that Samsung is going to savings, or much more simply wanted to provide users with a little more than entry level, it didn't make sense maybe repeat the same characteristics of S3 onto a device just smaller. S3 Mini mounts still Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and that's good, because it is an operating system very performant and fully customizable. iPhone 5 has the well known lately for the terrible maps, iOS 6, a quality operating system but downright Fermé.
